Artefacts for display

Over the last 10 years I have collected a number of treasures which I have incorporated into my design.

For instance, I have been an avid collector of button hooks. Therefore, this really associated with the ethos of my project, by using traditional tools and textile methods today to repair or mend items.

Above, are a collection of Greetings or 'sweet remembrance' cards from World War 1. I love the beautiful embroidery on them and the personal hand written message on the inside. This may be a useless item to many, but the idea that this can be reused and framed and displayed again is great.
